While I love Joe Sakic, I was thrilled to see Canada lose at the Olympics today. While I was not thrilled with the makeup of Team USA - and they validated my concerns with a 1-4-1 record - the arrogance of the Canadians makes me root against them. They are nearly as bad as Yankee and Red Wings fans.Making this even sweeter was the fact that the game winner in Russia's 2-0 win was scored by the absurdly dynamic Alexander Ovechkin (see highlights below) on the power play after a Todd Bertuzzi penalty. Beautiful!
So take your pick: the Czech Republic, Finland, Russia, or Sweden.
