Book Review - Jonesy

I know, ANOTHER book review. Wow! Read this one last summer while I was in Boston. I was intrigued by the book as it was about a former AVS player, # 11 Keith Jones, who was a real fan favorite at "The Camp." He only played about 100 games for the AVS, but the book was also written by ESPN analyst John Buccigross (you may have seen him plug it in his column) - who is a huge hockey fan with great perspective for the game.

I liked the book. There were some grammatical errors and that sends a freak like me over the edge - but was a good read. Lots of interesting anecdotes from Jones and an interesting perspective from a "grinder." Probably the most shocking theme throughout the book was hoe Jones basically did no conditioning or weight training during his entire junior, college, and NHL career. That was truly amazing.

So, in conclusion - good read, worth checking out for hockey fans.

Book Review-???

Wow, we are getting sophisticated! Anyway, just finished off this book from Denver Post writer Adrian Dater. As you can see, it is called "Blood Feud" and is all about the Avalanche and Red Wings rivalry. It is highly recommended for hockey fans.

My copy is missing a few pages (the dogs locked themselves in the bathroom all day) but you are welcome to borrow it!
