Often immitated, but never equaled - Fu Manchu and Beef Jerky Sunday!  The real men who participated:

Fu Manch Sunday

The legendary day was celebrated in classic red-neck fashion....first with a short bench on the ice.

Then the perfect venue - a Chevy truck - for beers and beef jerky.

The pimp got a picture for the "alleged" sponsor who shockingly missed the event.

The partcipants represented in proper fashion and included:  The Infidels,

The semi-participants - some city-folk - fans of that damn book-learnin',

Goofy rednecks,

some scary hillbillies,

and of course the two Uncles your Mom warned you about - Chester the Molester and crazy Cletus! 

And there was much rejoicing!

Yes, that annual right of passage occurred last Sunday.

Q: Where? A: At Craig's "rockin" (if you know what I mean) van!

Q: Who stepped up to the challenge?
A: Several people who understand how the Fu Man or a porn 'stache can make the world a safer and better place!

Q: Who else was there?

A: A bunch of really smart people!

...was a fantastic success:

The Defense chipped in with: 8 assists, 12 beers, and a bag of pork rinds.

The forwards contributed 8 goals, 7 assists, 24 beers and 18 pieces of beef jerky?

Q: What really brings a team together more than devious-looking facial hair?

A: Lots of things, but Fu Manchu night is definitely in the top 42.

Ah, yes. That annual Summer tradition: Beef Jerky Night. What says Summer more than a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon and a warm piece of beef jerky out of the back of the NGS' mini-van?
You are right, nothing.



So, if you are ever not feeling hill-billy enough or you just don't feel like you are living up to your peckerwood image - attend Beef Jerky Night.


There was also follow-up drinking where Frank almost proposed to Craig who was "allegedly" going to ride his bike home.

But those stories are best saved for another day.
