Player Profile - # 30 - Brian Eloe
Name: Brian Eloe
Position: Goaltender
#: 30
Why?: Tribute to Marty Brodeur.
Nickname: Chub; Chub Rock.
Why?: A reference to his first bachelor party and the ensuing stimulus reaction.
How we know him: His first job as a youngster was working for Bizz (Big Brian). Then moved into "Camp Corona" with Joe and Bizz.
One Scout said: Very competitive and fiery in net. While not a big keeper, he plays the angles very well and almost always makes the first save. Excellent glove hand.
Game reminds you of: Jocelyn Thibault - G - Buffalo Sabres.
Best line on the ice: "I'll see you in the parking lot asshole!"
You may not have known: Chub is the lead singer in his band and has been recorded on two CDs. Developed almost all of the graphics for the Altitude Network that you see during AVS games.
Thanks for: Agreeing to play goal when we were in a bind. Selflessly took over the toughest and most important position.
